Military Mutual – Terms of Service

Welcome to Military Mutual.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Military Mutual website, mobile applications, community spaces, content, services, and tools (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing, using, subscribing to, or placing an order through the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
1. About Military Mutual
Military Mutual (“Military Mutual,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a mission-driven personal and professional development platform serving active-duty service members, veterans, their families, veteran-owned businesses (VOBs), and veteran service organizations (VSOs).
The Platform may include daily routines, educational content, courses, coaching, events, directories, community features, downloads, affiliate or Mission Level Partner programs, and AI-powered tools.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using Military Mutual, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Acceptance and Updates
Military Mutual reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
4. Account Registration and Security
Some features require account creation. You agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized account use
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Military Mutual may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscriptions, Memberships, and Access Groups
Military Mutual offers various access levels which may include Free, Basic, Premium, Pro, Beta/All Access, and Partner access.
Features vary by tier and may change over time.
Beta or All Access features may be experimental and subject to change or removal.
Partner access may include private partner-only community spaces.
Access is granted according to the plan selected at checkout or invitation.
6. Payments, Billing, and Renewal
By purchasing a paid membership or service, you authorize Military Mutual or its payment processor to charge your payment method according to the terms displayed at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
Prices and features may change prospectively.
You are responsible for applicable taxes.
Military Mutual reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit orders or subscriptions at its discretion.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law:
Digital memberships, content access, downloads, coaching, consulting, and events are generally non-refundable.
Subscriptions must be canceled before the next billing cycle to avoid future charges.
Certain services may have separate refund policies disclosed at purchase.
8. Beta Access and Experimental Features
Beta and All Access users acknowledge:
• Features may be incomplete, unstable, or removed
• Platform functionality may change without notice
• Participation is voluntary and at the user’s discretion
9. Educational and Coaching Disclaimer
All content, coaching, AI guidance, templates, and resources are for educational and informational purposes only.
Military Mutual does not provide:
• Medical or mental health diagnosis or treatment
• Legal advice
• Financial, tax, or investment advice

10. AI Tools – Ask Ari & Ari Assist
The Platform may include artificial intelligence tools, including voice and chat features such as Ask Ari and Ari Assist, designed to support user navigation, reflection, and learning within the Military Mutual platform.
These tools may generate automated responses based on user inputs, platform content, and other data sources.
By using these AI tools, you acknowledge and agree that:
AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, or unintended outputs.
AI tools are designed to assist with organization, reflection, and educational guidance but do not replace professional judgment or licensed advice.
Military Mutual does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated content.
Users are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any information provided through AI tools before relying on it.
AI tools provided by Military Mutual are not intended to provide medical, legal, financial, mental health, tax, or investment advice.
Users agree not to use AI tools to generate unlawful, harmful, misleading, or abusive content, or to attempt to manipulate the system in ways that could harm the platform or other users.
Military Mutual reserves the right to monitor AI interactions to improve system performance, enforce platform policies, and ensure safe operation of the Platform.
Military Mutual shall not be liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated responses.
AI features may evolve over time and may be updated, modified, or removed as the platform continues to develop.
11. Data Storage, AI Inputs, and Data Loss
Military Mutual takes reasonable steps to protect Platform data but does not guarantee permanent data storage.
You understand and agree:
User data (including journals, reflections, workbooks, and AI chat history) may be lost due to system errors, updates, outages, or other failures.
Military Mutual is not liable for loss of user data to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of important information.
12. Community Standards and Acceptable Use
Users agree to use the Platform responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws.
Users may not:
• Engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive practices
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post hateful, illegal, or harmful content
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Platform
• Use bots, automated tools, scraping software, or unauthorized system access
• Misrepresent affiliation with Military Mutual or impersonate others
Military Mutual reserves the right to remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
13. Intellectual Property
All Platform content including branding, software, videos, templates, educational materials, and design elements are owned by Military Mutual or its licensors.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit Platform materials without written permission.
14. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you post but grant Military Mutual a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content as necessary to operate the Platform.
You represent that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
15. Community Interactions and Peer Discussions
Military Mutual provides community spaces for members to share experiences, perspectives, and educational insights.
Discussions within the community represent the opinions and personal experiences of individual users and do not constitute professional advice or official guidance from Military Mutual.
Military Mutual does not verify the accuracy of member discussions and is not responsible for decisions made based on user-generated content.
Members should exercise independent judgment and seek qualified professional guidance when appropriate.
16. Directories (VOBs, VSOs, and Consumer Resources)
Directory listings may be provided by third parties.
Military Mutual does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, discounts, or outcomes of directory listings and does not endorse all listings unless explicitly stated.
17. Mission Level Partner (Affiliate) Program
Military Mutual may offer referral compensation through the Mission Level Partner (MLP) program.
Participation requires compliance with program rules and applicable laws.
Commissions are generated only from active membership subscriptions within the referral network.
Earnings are not guaranteed and results vary.
Military Mutual may modify or terminate affiliate participation at its discretion.
18. Optional Partner Services
Military Mutual may facilitate optional services for businesses or organizations including AI integrations, marketing support, or consulting provided by trusted partners.
These services:
• Are separate from standard memberships
• May require additional agreements
• May involve independent contractor relationships
19. Third-Party Services and Links
Military Mutual is not responsible for third-party tools, services, or websites linked from the Platform.
Use of third-party services is at your own risk.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Military Mutual makes no warranties regarding:
• Accuracy or reliability of content
• Continuous or uninterrupted availability
• Specific results or outcomes
Users assume all risks associated with Platform use.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Military Mutual and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
In no event shall Military Mutual’s total liability exceed the greater of:
• The total amount paid by the user to Military Mutual in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
• One hundred U.S. dollars ($100)
22. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Military Mutual, its officers, partners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising from:
• Violation of these Terms
• Misuse of the Platform
• Content you submit
• Violations of law or third-party rights
23. Termination
Military Mutual may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for violations of these Terms, fraud, nonpayment, or to protect the integrity of the Platform or community.
Termination may occur without prior notice.
24. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or the use of the Military Mutual platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
By agreeing to these Terms, users waive the right to participate in any class action or representative proceeding.
Arbitration shall take place in the State of California unless otherwise required by law.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
